WordPress hosting on your own server.

WPL7 turns an Ubuntu server into WordPress hosting, with a panel that runs your sites and servers. One VPS, one command, every site in its own container.

What you get

One panel for your sites, WordPress, backups, mail and servers.

Built for agencies and freelancers hosting client sites, and for anyone who would rather pay for a server than per site.

How it works

From a fresh server to live sites in three steps.

Point DNS and run one command

Point two DNS records at a fresh Ubuntu 26.04 server with 2 GB RAM or more, then run the installer. It takes about 10 minutes.

Sign in to the panel

Open the panel at panel.yourdomain and sign in. Sites, servers, backups and jobs are all in one place.

Create sites and go live

New sites are live on a dev address at once. When a site is ready, Go live on the customer's domain.

Install command · run as root on the new server

Open source

Self-hosted, and yours to keep.

WPL7 is free software. It runs on your server, keeps your data there and works without any service of ours.

  • AGPL-3.0. Read the code, run it, change it.
  • Your server, your data. Sites, databases and backups stay on machines you control.
  • No control plane, no telemetry. The panel does not phone home.
  • Plain-file backups. Restore them even without WPL7.

AI and API

Let your AI assistant run the panel.

Ask in plain language: create a site, update plugins, check a backup. Your assistant works through the same jobs and permissions as everyone else.

  • An MCP server at /mcp works with Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code.
  • An admin approves each app and sets its level. Jobs show which app ran them, for example “Claude via MCP”.
  • The terminal and API keys are never reachable through MCP.
  • A REST API with keys at three levels (Read only, Manage, Full) and an activity log.
